Well, it’s not really the ’sea’. Close enough though. A strait that cuts inland around this part of the island. Looking out it’s hard to spot the land on the opposite side and the horizon looks hard and firm. The big tankers that are heading out onto the Pacific seem perched lightly on top. Barely moving.
A lovely golden lab chases after a stick thrown in the cool clear water. He’s happy. The sun is warm. Could sit here forever.
