No news is good news…
Currently, I have come to understand certain well-known health care professionals – like Dr. Andrew Weil – who encourage regularly taking a day off from the brouhaha.
This makes so much sense if you ever try and monitor just how bad, nervous and fearful you can feel at the end of a day of news and reality t.v. input.
So, try embracing the quiet one day. It may be hard. You’ll feel cut off from what may be exciting events. Don’t worry. The news agenda these days is to run every item into the ground. You won’t miss a thing if you wait a day. See if your mood isn’t a wee bit better come bedtime.
